Boultham Park Fair

July 2021

We had a successful day at Boultham Park this year with the Cave Challenge, introducing local children and adults to caving. During the event we received over £200 in donations, which will go towards the upkeep of the club.

AGM & Social

July 2021

Following the busy day at Boultham Park Fair the BBQ was lit and a good amount of food was consumed. The AGM saw 11 of our members attend. 

Funding Award

June 2021

Lincoln Scouts Caving Club has been fortunate to receive funding towards the purchase of new helmets on behalf of the Lincolnshire Sports Forum which is supported by the Lincolnshire Community Foundation.

The funding will mean that we can continue to carry on caving into the future whilst also providing more helmets which will enable us to run all three caving activities for Poacher 2022.

Resuming Scout Caving

June 2021

Whilst our adult members have been able to carry on caving, Scout caving has until now been on hold. 

Covid risk assessments have now been approved to resume Scout Caving in the Peak District, but at reduced numbers of five people per group (two adults and three Scouts).

Sudbrooke Cave Open for Bookings

June 2021

We announced last year that the Artificial Cave at Sudbrooke was open for bookings. Just as this was announced, everything came to a halt.

This month, Scout leaders from various groups have been approved to run this activity. To book, contact the Sudbrooke Warden.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions putting a halt to caving over the past 18 months, membership fees have been halved for this year.  Our usual membership fees are located on the Membership Page.  This years fees are detailed below;

Full Adult Membership - £20 

Adult involved with Scouting Activities - £9  (Regular leader or helper with Scout Caving)

Student Membership - £10

LinSECT Membership - £7.50
