All applications are subject to the approval of the committee and all members must satisfactorily complete a Personal Enquiry Form and AA Form.

Due to our Scout Association affiliation, you will have to gain an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate. The fee for this is covered by the Scout Association.

Although we are affiliated to the Scout Association, we do have members who choose to cave only and do not get involved with scouting activity.

Our membership runs from April each year, but you can join at any time.

Full Membership

 This is open to anyone over the age of 18 to associate and full members of the Scout Association. Members of the public are welcome to join the club but first of all must join as an associate member of the Scout Association. As a club we guide you through this process.

LinSECT Membership

This membership option is open to all members of the Scout Association under the age of 18 who hold the Scout Caver Badge and have a genuine interest in the sport.

Membership Fees 2022

All membership fees include BCA membership.

Adult - £28 a year

Adult involved with Scouting activities - £12 a year

Adult in full time education - £14 a year

LinSECT - £10 a year 

Social (Non Caver) - £12

 Full members also have the right to vote at general meetings.
