Boultham Park Fair
We had a successful day at Boultham Park this year with the Cave Challenge, introducing local children and adults to caving. During the event we received over £200 in donations, which will go towards the upkeep of the club.
AGM & Social
Following the busy day at Boultham Park Fair the BBQ was lit and a good amount of food was consumed. The AGM saw 11 of our members attend.
Lincoln Scouts Caving Club has been fortunate to receive funding towards the purchase of new helmets on behalf of the Lincolnshire Sports Forum which is supported by the Lincolnshire Community Foundation.
The funding will mean that we can continue to carry on caving into the future whilst also providing more helmets which will enable us to run all three caving activities for Poacher 2022.
Resuming Scout Caving
Whilst our adult members have been able to carry on caving, Scout caving has until now been on hold.
Covid risk assessments have now been approved to resume Scout Caving in the Peak District, but at reduced numbers of five people per group (two adults and three Scouts).
Available dates are;
Saturday 31st July
Sunday 22nd August
Saturday 18th September
Sunday 7th November
Saturday 11th December
